I have grown up in  capital of  Kazakhstan - Almaty (Alma-Ata, USSR) that lies beside Tyan-Shan  mountains. I studied physics at Kazakh State University, graduated in 1994,  then I received Ph.D in Physics at  Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, USA in 2002.  I am currently empolyed by University of South Carolina and work with LEGS scientific collaboration.  I am involved with collection and analys experimental data using ROOT-based   software that I write myself and other physics analysis packages such as ROOT, PAW, GEANT, cernlib etc. In the process I gained a lot of programming experience.
